“
Today," Brendan Graham Dempsey announced on
his substack, “
I’m launching a new initiative called Sky Meadow Institute, an organizational effort based out of the 115-acre organic farm and retreat center I run called Sky Meadow. The Institute will become the new programming container for existing and novel efforts aimed at promoting the application of relational thinking (e.g., systems and process thought, complexity science, emergentism, etc.) to the things that matter most (e.g., religion, politics, ecology, etc.)."
Here's what they've got going on so far:>>> Spring & Fall permacultural study/work residencies
>>> Sky Meadow Printing Press beginning a multi-author line of books on Metamodern Spirituality
>>> Liminal Library stockpiling books on the intersection of complexity & meaning-making.
>>> Metamodern spirituality podcast
>>> Twice-annual
metamodern spirituality labs (i.e. retreats)
>>> Specially themed & hosted community events.
That last category (upcoming special events) includes THREE upcoming interweaving retreats featuring Bonnitta Roy and her
Pop-Up School:
June 5–9, 2024 - “
Recognizing Your Natural State”
August 7–11, 2024 - “

October 2–6, 2024 - “

Audacious.
